Job Title: Breakfast Attendant
Department: Food & Beverage
Supervision Exercised: N/A
Supervision Received: Operations Manager/General Manager
Job Summary: The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, stocking, and maintaining our complimentary breakfast area while delivering friendly, attentive service. This role ensures food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction to help create a welcoming Home2 experience.
Job Duties include the following:
Guest Services & Operations:
Set up the breakfast area daily according to brand standards
Prepare, replenish, and rotate food items to ensure freshness
Monitor food temperatures and maintain food safety requirements
Maintain a clean and organized service area, tables, counters, and equipment
Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and assist with food or beverage needs
Keep stock organized; restock supplies as needed
Maintain knowledge of food allergens and assist guests accordingly
Break down and clean the breakfast area at the end of service
Assist with inventory and ordering as needed
Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines
Report equipment or supply issues to management
Perform other duties as assigned
Administrative & Communication:
Communicates with any guest needs to Operations Manager and or General Manager.
Completes side work during non-busy hours.
Reports to as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to be in position which includes uniform to be pressed and cleaned, name tag worn, and excellent hygiene.
Follow up with guest requests/complaints
Minimum Requirements:
Previous food service or hotel experience preferred, not required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Must have exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to satisfactory communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
Necessary Licenses/Certifications:
Must complete CA Food handlers Card training provided upon hire.
