Job Description

As a Security Officer Corporate Lobby Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier retail location, you will provide a welcoming, professional presence while monitoring access, assisting visitors, and communicating security-related concerns. You will help maintain an orderly environment through exceptional customer service, observation, and timely reporting. Pay Rate: $20.50 - $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, clients, and employees in a professional manner at a luxury retail location.
• Manage front desk access procedures, verify visitor credentials, maintain guest logs, and direct individuals to appropriate contacts or areas.
• Monitor entry activity, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, reporting unusual conditions according to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with store leadership, employees, visitors, and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related activities and site needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
