The IMMEX Fixed Assets Compliance Manager ensures end-to-end compliance, control and traceability of all assets throughout their lifecycle, supporting the maintenance of IMMEX, OEA and VAT-IEPS certifications. Acting as the subject matter expert, the role partners across the business to drive compliance, audit readiness, risk mitigation and continuous improvement while enabling operational growth and business continuity.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure asset traceability, inventory accuracy, and audit readiness through robust controls, reconciliations, and documentation management.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for audits, certifications, and regulatory reviews, managing compliance risks and driving mitigation actions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide compliance guidance and support strategic projects, equipment investments, and site expansions.
  • Lead process standardization, digitalization, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance compliance capabilities.
  • Develop procedures, training, and awareness programs while promoting a strong compliance culture, continuous improvement, and operational continuity.
  • Own the governance and compliance of all IMMEX fixed assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to IMMEX, OEA, VAT-IEPS, and Customs regulations.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in foreign Trade, International Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field. Extensive experience in companies operating under IMMEX, PROSEC, CTPAT, AEO/OEA, and VAT-IEPS Certification programs, preferably with responsibility for import and export operations across multiple global regions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IMMEX regulations, Fixed Assets control under IMMEX, Mexican Customs Law, Foreign Trade Regulations, VAT-IEPS and AEO/OEA certification requirements, Annex 24 inventory controls, customs audits, authority reviews, asset lifecycle management, and compliance governance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in complex environments, build strong cross-functional relationships, influence stakeholders without direct authority, drive alignment across multiple business functions, and effectively manage change and organizational priorities.
  • Experience leading or collaborating with digital, automation, and project teams to implement new systems, compliance solutions, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and technology skills, including the ability to develop basic Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, leverage data-driven insights, and adapt to emerging technologies and digital tools.
  • Advanced English and Spanish communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly, facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders, and support decision-making through effective risk-based communication.
