We primarily work with regional universities, helping them develop and grow their high-ROI, workforce-focused online degree programs in critical areas such as nursing, teaching, business, and public service. Risepoint is dedicated to increasing access to affordable education so that more students, especially working adults, can improve their careers and meet employer and community needs.

The Impact You Will Make

The Senior Student Engagement Coordinator is a key role within the Student Recruitment team at Risepoint. Working within the Student Engagement team, in this role you will engage with warm leads to provide guidance on study choices.

This role will also provide administrative and operational support to ensure prospective students receive timely, accurate and helpful information throughout the enquiry and enrolment process.

This is an entry-level role ideal for someone starting their career in education or sales support. The successful candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and motivated to support student outcomes through high-quality service.

The Student Recruitment team plays a pivotal role in expanding Risepoint’s reach by attracting and engaging prospective students. This team is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies and guiding students through the application and enrolment process.

Development Opportunities

This role provides a strong foundation for career progression within student enrolment, customer service or education support functions at Risepoint. You’ll gain exposure to systems, practices and collaboration across departments, preparing you for potential growth into more senior roles such as Student Engagement Advisor.

How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life

What You Will Do

  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective students, building meaningful connections through phone, email and SMS while guiding them from initial enquiry to enrolment and helping them choose the right study pathway.
  • Conduct proactive phone and email outreach to prospective students, scheduling appointments, nurturing leads, and guiding them through the enrolment journey to maximise progression and conversion.
  • Maintain accurate student records and deliver high-quality administrative support across multiple university partners, fostering strong partner relationships and contributing to enrolment goals.
  • Maintain proactive outreach to paused or disengaged leads while working independently to identify and recommend practical solutions that support student progression.
  • Maintain accurate student records in internal systems and CRMs, ensuring data integrity and high administrative standards.
  • Represent the organisation professionally while creating a positive enrolment experience for every student through empathetic, accurate, and timely support.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure prospective students receive a seamless and consistent enrolment experience.

What Success Looks Like

  • Students feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the enrolment journey because communication is timely, clear, and accurate.
  • Enrolment targets and conversion goals for assigned partners are consistently met through effective outreach, strong relationship ownership, and disciplined follow-through.
  • Student records, communications, and handoffs are well managed, contributing to a smooth experience for both students and internal stakeholders.

How Impact Will be Measured

  • Performance against enrolment, conversion, and outreach activity targets for assigned university partners.
  • Quality and consistency of student engagement, including responsiveness, professionalism, and accuracy of information shared.
  • Accuracy of data, completion of administrative activity, and effective collaboration across teams to keep students progressing through the pipeline.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Experience That Matters Most

  • A bachelor’s degree or working towards a tertiary qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and guide individuals through important decisions.
  • A detail-oriented and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving ability in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Experience That’s Great to Have

  • Previous experience in administrative roles, customer service or sales.
  • Experience working in higher education, online education, admissions, or enrolment support.
  • Familiarity with CRM, student information systems, or other platforms used to manage applicant and student records.
