Paint Production Associate Weekend Shift: Friday through Sunday 6:00am to 6:00pm (Work 36 hours get paid for 40!)

What we're looking for:
The Production Associate in painting applies protective coatings and paint to manufactured products using spray guns, rollers, or automated systems. They prepare surfaces, mix paints to specifications, ensure quality standards (coating thickness/adhesion), and maintain equipment in a safe, often fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, mask, blast, and de-grease metal or fabricated components for proper paint adhesion.
- Application: Mix, match, and apply paints, epoxies, urethanes, or powder coatings using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers.
- Equipment Operation: Set up and operate automated coating systems, spray guns, and, in some cases, paint booth systems.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring dry film thickness and color accuracy meet specifications.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain clean equipment (guns, lines) and follow strict PPE, ventilation, and hazardous material handling regulations.
Requirements
- 1 or more years of prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or automotive painting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficiency in using industrial paint machinery, an understanding of coatings, and technical blueprint reading.
- Ability to stand for long periods, work in confined or high-temperature areas, and lift materials.
- Must be proficient with technical machinery and have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a high-volume production environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Record information on production logs, such as units produced and any defects found.
- Able to work efficiently with others as part of a team on an assembly line.

- Must pass a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check.
