The Product Development Team (PDT) Lead for Architecture Projects plays a critical role in driving successful project execution from inception through hand-off to Design and Product Teams. This position combines technical leadership, cross-functional program management, and customer-focused execution to ensure innovative projects are delivered on time, with high quality, and in alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional project development activities
  • Drive project execution across scope, schedule, quality, cost, and customer commitments while providing executive status updates
  • Partner with engineering teams to evaluate technical solutions and balance performance, power, manufacturability, reliability, and cost requirements
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, manufacturing, schedule, and customer risks while resolving cross-functional barriers
  • Lead project transition from inception to Design or Product Teams hand-off

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading semiconductor product development programs involving DRAM, memory systems, storage, ASIC, SoC, modules, platforms, or similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of the semiconductor product development lifecycle, including qualification, manufacturing ramp, reliability, and customer engagement processes
  • Experience with stage-gate development methodologies and new product introduction (NPI) execution
  • Proficiency using AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency in day-to-day work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading global, cross-functional engineering teams across multiple development sites
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, participant management, and executive presentation skills
  • Extensive experience in semiconductor engineering, systems architecture, product development, or technical program leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive alignment without direct organizational authority
  • Experience managing sophisticated programs involving multiple engineering fields and business stakeholders

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$193,000.00 - $391,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
