The Quality Control Manager leads all inspection, verification, and product conformance activities within an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing environment. This role oversees daily quality control operations, drives customer and supplier quality performance, and develops a strong, high-performing quality control team.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits
- Manage document control and quality records
- Oversee the Material Review Board (MRB) process
- Lead containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification activities
- Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
- Ensure calibration compliance, gage control, and testing effectiveness
- Monitor special processes and product conformance
- Manage nonconforming material and product control processes
- Support domestic customers and domestic product quality performance
- Analyze and report quality metrics including FPY, DPPM, audit results, and nonconformance trends
- Develop, coach, and lead Quality Inspectors, Technicians, Engineers, and Supervisors
The Quality Control Manager has authority to:
- Place product on hold
- Stop shipments for quality concerns
- Reject nonconforming material
- Convene and lead MRB reviews
- Escalate quality and compliance risks
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing, inspection methods, and corrective action processes
- Experience with calibration systems, gage control, and quality data analysis
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE, CQA)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
- Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or assembly manufacturing
