For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 5 years of experience as an AWS DevSecOps Engineer
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources in a repeatable, auditable manner.
- Ability to design and implement workflow automation using AWS Step Functions for orchestrating multi-step cloud processes.
- Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript to develop automation scripts, Lambda functions, and CDK constructs within AWS environments.
- Solid command of Shell and Bash scripting for pipeline automation, environment configuration, and operational tasks across AWS infrastructure.
- Applied knowledge of DevSecOps principles, including embedding security controls and compliance checks within AWS CI/CD workflows.
- Practical understanding of FinOps practices to monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending within AWS environments.
- Fluency in English (C1) and Portuguese (native)
- Availability for Hybrid model, 2 times a week based in Braga
- Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
