The Learning & Development (L&D) Program Manager will work directly with the broader Talent team, HR Business Partners and the businesses to develop and execute comprehensive learning and leadership development solutions. This role will be primarily focused on firmwide management development and training programs to ensure Blackstone professionals have the right management skills to be successful.
This role is based in Berkeley Heights, NJ but there will be an expectation of travel to the NYC office as needed (~1-2 times a week dependent on NY program dates and key in-person meetings).
Specific responsibilities include:
End to end ownership of firmwide manager program that includes multiple sessions, e.g.,
Launch events
Ongoing learning using varied formats
Manage communications and attendance
Develop content, evaluating and revising programs
Liaise with leadership, HR and external partners
Create and project manage ongoing support resources
Develop and execute training needs and programs; manage existing programs and devise plan for additional training needs; monitor for overall effectiveness and alignment to Blackstone standards
Support efforts with Global L&D to build and facilitate firmwide “career landmark programs”
Research and source external partners for design and delivery of programs
Build relationships with colleagues across businesses/regions to better support their talent development needs
Programs evaluation review and recommendations of content and process improvement for all firmwide programs
Support leadership assessment needs
Lead facilitation of specific training programs as necessary
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in HR, focus on learning & development or talent a plus; experience in Financial Services is preferred
Strong project management skills
Strong team player and willing to “roll up sleeves”
Technology Skills: Strong proficiency in using technology and systems, particularly Learning Management Systems (LMS). Experience with AI, e-learning platforms and digital training tools is preferred
Experience of developing relationships across businesses and global HR
Results orientated; must drive strategy with experience to independently execute
Superior communication skills – both written and verbal; experience to interact confidently with all levels of the organization and group
High level of professionalism
Must thrive in a dynamic global organization
Must possess experience to work across a broad group and independently execute programs
Outstanding Power Point and Excel skills

Expected annual base salary range:
$125,000 - $150,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
