The Graduate Assistant for the Center for Global Engagement, under the supervision of the Assistant Director.

Job Description

DUTIES AND TASKS:

NOTE: The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive.   • Manage the international admissions email inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses to prospective students and partners.
  • Upload, download, and organize student application documents within admissions systems and shared databases.
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and route inquiries to appropriate team members as needed.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks for the Center for Global Engagement.
  • Support planning, coordination, and execution of Center for Global Engagement activities and events.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the international admissions team as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and peak-cycle support during high-volume admissions periods.


 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Knowledge of both Windows and Apple products.
  • Possess excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of higher education and goals.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage time, and multitask appropriately.
  • Ability to function autonomously and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to manage excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use the internet and computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
  • Common knowledge and use of office equipment including, but not limited to, copiers, and faxes.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current enrollment as a full time student in a Saint Leo University graduate school program is required.
  • Graduate students in any major are eligible to apply.
