Job Description
The APAC RFP Team supports the preparation and delivery of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for Invesco’s regional business. The team collaborates closely with RFP colleagues and subject matter experts across investment, product, marketing, compliance, and other internal functions to deliver accurate and high-quality client materials. Team members help maintain consistent proposal content and support the development of marketing and investment-related materials while adhering to established processes and quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in the asset management industry, financial markets, mutual funds, and institutional client requirements. The successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, four to six years of RFP experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Your Role
As an RFP Specialist, you will support the preparation of accurate, clear, and timely responses to RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs for the APAC regional RFP team. You will complete defined assignments using established procedures, approved content, and guidance from experienced team members. You will also help maintain the RFP content database and support the preparation and editing of investment marketing materials. This role provides an opportunity to build foundational knowledge of the asset management industry, financial products, and the RFP production process.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Support the preparation of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs using approved content, templates, and established procedures.
- Coordinate with regional RFP team members and internal subject matter experts to collect required information.
- Draft, review, edit, and format straightforward proposal content under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Complete assigned work within agreed timelines while checking for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and completeness.
- Maintain approved content and supporting information in the RFPIO database.
- Support the preparation and editing of investment marketing materials, including presentations and other client-facing documents.
- Learn and follow internal policies, quality requirements, document standards, and review processes.
- Develop a basic understanding of investment management, financial markets, financial products, and asset classes.
The Experience You Bring:
- A postgraduate qualification such as an MBA in Finance, or a relevant qualification in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of investment management, asset management, financial markets, mutual funds, or financial services.
- Foundational understanding of financial products and different asset classes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in business and proposal writing.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to check work for accuracy and completeness.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, use established procedures, and ask questions when clarification is required.
- Ability to manage defined assignments, meet deadlines, collaborate effectively, and take accountability for the quality of individual contributions.
