About the role:

As a Process Transformation Professional, you will play an important role in driving process excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement across Maersk Ground Freight operations. Working closely with Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, Governance, and regional stakeholders, you will help assess existing processes, design operational improvements, support transformation initiatives, and contribute to the development of scalable global standards.

This role offers the opportunity to influence operational performance, support digital and automation initiatives, and help deliver consistent customer outcomes across a global logistics network. You will work across functions to identify improvement opportunities, support change initiatives, and help shape the future of Ground Freight operations through data-driven decision making and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document current-state processes, workflows, and operational procedures to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the design and implementation of future-state processes that improve efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Partner with business, platform, and operational stakeholders to drive standardization and process optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, business policies, training materials, and knowledge assets.
  • Monitor process performance metrics, identify root causes, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support governance activities, risk assessments, audits, and control framework implementation.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digital solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experience in process improvement, business transformation, operational excellence, or business process management.
  • Knowledge of process mapping, process redesign, governance frameworks, and operational controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to support decision making.
  • Experience managing or supporting cross-functional projects and change initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across functions and regions.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehousing, trucking, e-commerce, or operational environments is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000*

*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
