The pay rate will be 19.50/hr.
This position is scheduled Friday through Sunday from 3:30 PM–11:30 PM CT.
The Night Concierge will provide evening guest support, front desk coverage, administrative coordination, and light facility support.
The position works independently for a significant portion of the evening, onsite after approximately 8:00 PM, with management available on call as needed!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Greet guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures (30%)
Respond to guest requests, concerns, and questions while maintaining a compassionate and welcoming environment (20%)
Complete administrative duties, data entry, and maintain accurate guest records and paperwork (15%)
Respond appropriately to guest concerns, unexpected situations, and emergencies, including contacting management or emergency services when necessary (15%)
Complete assigned evening facility and operational tasks, including restocking supplies, maintaining common areas, and preparing the lodge for the next day (10%)
Monitor lodge operations and safety during evening hours while working independently and following established procedures (10%)
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Additional education or training in hospitality management, customer service, security, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, hotel operations, administrative support, security, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 1 year of Customer Service Experience
Previous hotel front desk, night audit, security, or independent evening-shift experience is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and remain productive with limited direct supervision
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills
Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during unexpected or emergency situations
Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ability to take ownership of responsibilities
Ability to identify and address routine operational issues rather than delaying manageable concerns for the next shift
Ability to balance administrative responsibilities with guest needs and changing priorities
Proficiency with basic computer systems, data entry, and administrative processes
Ability to consistently work Friday through Sunday, 3:30 PM–11:30 PM CT
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimal travel required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The role may require extended periods of standing and walking, particularly during front desk duties, guest assistance, and evening rounds throughout the lodge.
Occasional lifting and moving of packages, supplies, or other items may be necessary while supporting guests and lodge operations.
Some manual tasks, including restocking supplies, taking out trash, wiping down kitchen areas, sweeping or vacuuming common areas, and closing blinds, may be required.
The role may involve physical endurance to manage multiple responsibilities, respond to guest needs, and maintain lodge operations throughout the evening shift.
