About the RoleWe are seeking a dual-licensed Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist to join our growing digital healthcare team. This fully remote role will support injured employees through high-quality virtual injury evaluation, triage, care coordination, treatment planning, and remote therapeutic monitoring.This position is designed as a dual ATC/PT role, with immediate responsibilities across both athletic training and physical therapy services. As program volume grows, the role is expected to progress into a greater focus on physical therapy treatment planning, follow-up care, and ongoing therapeutic management.Important Licensing RequirementPlease do not apply unless you are both BOC Certified as an Athletic Trainer and licensed as a Physical Therapist in a PT Compact state..Key ResponsibilitiesPerform virtual injury evaluations through the company’s telemedicine and electronic medical record platform.Provide acute and chronic injury triage, case management, and patient education within scope of practice.Develop and implement physical therapy treatment plans through digital healthcare tools and integrations.Support remote therapeutic monitoring programs, as appropriate.Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record.Coordinate care and maintain effective communication with patients, providers, and internal clinical team members.Maintain clinical quality, compliance, and professional standards in all patient interactions.Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and compact licensure requirements for athletic training and physical therapy.Maintain compliance with HIPAA, privacy standards, and company policies.Role ProgressionThis role will begin with a balanced mix of athletic training and physical therapy responsibilities. Over time, as patient volume and program needs expand, the position is expected to shift toward more PT-focused responsibilities, including treatment planning, follow-up visits, remote therapeutic monitoring, and ongoing patient progress management.QualificationsMaster’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required.Current Physical Therapist license required, with eligibility to practice in a PT Compact state.BOC Certified Athletic Trainer credential required.Current Athletic Trainer license or certification, as required by applicable state regulations.Minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience preferred; four or more years strongly preferred.Experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, occupational health, telehealth, or physical rehabilitation preferred.Multi-state licensure is highly preferred.Remote Work RequirementsReliable high-speed internet access.Computer or tablet suitable for telehealth visits and documentation.Private home office or clinical workspace that supports HIPAA-compliant patient care.Ability to complete onboarding and review required training materials, including recorded webinars.Professional appearance and conduct during virtual patient visits.Schedule and CompensationJob Type: Full-timeExpected Hours: 40–45 hours per weekSchedule: Monday through FridaySalary Range: $80,000–$100,00 per yearWork Location: Fully remoteOur ValuesQuality: We deliver care and documentation that meet high clinical and professional standards.Integrity: We communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and do the right thing for patients and partners.Responsiveness: We act quickly to support patient needs, provider partners, and program goals.
