Overview
This position is responsible for providing I&C support for the safe, cost-effective, and reliable operation of Comanche Peak Nuclear Station.
* LEVEL OF POSITION WILL BE DETERMINED BY APPLICABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to support plant operation.
Maintain an environment conducive to nuclear and personnel safety.
Ensure adherence to regulation, policies, and procedures.
All other duties as assigned
Requirements
High School diploma/GED equivalent; Associates degree preferred
Good technical writing skills
Minimum 2-5 years commercial nuclear experience (I&C Tech)
Has confidence in their ability to make the right decisions, to tackle larger problems, and to handle failures.
Strives to improve maintenance and modification processes
Knowledgeable of specific area of responsibility and appropriate plant processes
Occasional long, irregular hours.
