We’re hiring a Warehouse Associate to Live. Work. Explore. at the south rim of the Grand Canyon!

 

Job Summary:This position collects and organizes product for delivery. They load, deliver and unload product at specified locations.

 

The Details:Position Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundPay: $17.20 per hourSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

• Safely drive, maneuver, and park a 16-foot delivery truck. 
• Safely and accurately assemble and complete daily stock requisitions in accordance with designated delivery schedule. 
• Off-load and store all incoming deliveries as directed by the Warehouse Manager.  
• Store products and rotate perishable products in accordance with ServeSafe HACCP guidelines. 
• Notify manager of items that are visibly damaged, out of date or other signs that the product may be unacceptable to receive. 
• Responsible to help assure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and loading dock, assuring all areas are cleaned according to ServeSafe HACCP guidelines. 
• Responsible for maintaining a clean delivery vehicle, checking vital fluid and fuel levels on every use. 
• Notify Manager when planned vehicle maintenance is due and/or necessary repairs are needed for safety. 
• Adhere to all safety risk management and ergonomic policies in carrying out duties. 
• Perform janitorial duties as assigned. 
• Support all other purchasing department duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• At least six months of previous warehouse experience preferred. 
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred. 
• Possess or obtain valid Arizona Driver’s License within 90 days and comply with the company Driver Safety Program. 
• Must be able to perform physical requirements. 
• Good written communication skills, plus basic math skills. 
• Basic understanding of Windows based computer software. 
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends and holidays. 

Physical Requirements include:

Constantly: Stand, walk, handle, reach outward/above shoulders, squat/kneel, bend, lift/carry up to 50 lbs., push/pull over 100 lbs.

Frequently: Climb, lift/carry up to 100 lbs.

Occasionally: Sit, lift/carry over 100 lbs.
