About the role:The Mid-level Industrial Designer at Sun King will lead appearance design, CMF specification, and UI for energy storage products, inverters, and accessories, driving solutions from concept through mass production. You will own design quality across the full product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready, user-centric products that align with global trends in the new-energy sector.

You will own design quality across the full product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready, user-centric products that align with global trends in the new-energy sector.
What you will be expected to do
Lead appearance design, CMF specifications, and UI for energy storage products, inverters, and accessories; conduct conceptual design for physical HMI, ergonomics, and installation solutions.
- Create high-quality product renders and marketing visual assets.
- Oversee prototyping details, sample acceptance, and design validation.
- Collaborate with mechanical, hardware, and marketing teams to deliver production-ready designs across the full product lifecycle from concept to mass production.
- Conduct design research and validation for existing-product optimization, and monitor global design trends and user experience in the new-energy / energy-storage sector.
You might be a strong candidate if you have/are
- Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Design, Product Design, Visual Communication, or related design disciplines.
- At least 3 years of industrial-design experience, with at least 2 mass-market launched products.
- Strong sketching skills, solid design fundamentals, aesthetic judgment, and form-development / surface-modelling capabilities.
- Proficiency in mainstream industrial-design and rendering tools (Rhino, KeyShot, SolidWorks, etc.) and basic graphic tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Knowledge of common materials (plastic, soft rubber, sheet metal) and manufacturing processes (injection moulding, CNC, 3D printing, bending, welding).
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, with accurate requirement comprehension and efficient delivery;
- CET-4 or equivalent English proficiency; good English reading & writing, basic listening & speaking.
- Preferred: experience with Blender / 3D animation, energy-storage or inverter design, AIGC tools, an international background, or domestic / international design awards.
