Description
As one of the world’s largest IT distributors, we're not just distributing technology, we're shaping the future for our partners and their customers and building on our value add ecosystem.
A great opportunity now exists within our ANZ Marketing function for an individual to own and build events and build cross-vendor GTM engagement capability that runs continuously, scales as needed and creates a permanent library of content that Channel Marketing Managers can offer vendors as a funded, trackable activation.
The events component of this role, will be responsible for centralising and standardising how Tech Data ANZ plans, delivers, and measures in-person activations. The role builds the infrastructure for a repeatable webinar and on-demand content program — cross-vendor, tracked end to end in HubSpot, and available to every Channel Marketing Manager as a ready-to-deploy offering in vendor discussions
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
Act as the single central point for event management and coordination across ANZ.
Build and own a standardised events playbook: processes, templates, run sheets, supplier management, budgeting, and quality standards.
Design and launch a branded TD ANZ webinar program — a recurring, cross-vendor format covering technology themes, vendor spotlights, and partner enablement sessions that runs on a consistent cadence (e.g. weekly or fortnightly).
Build an on-demand content library: record all live sessions, host them on a dedicated landing page, and make them discoverable and filterable by vendor, topic, and solution area.
Partner with the MDF & Marketing Engine Lead to design a customer acquisition engine that drives qualified registration and attendance across both live and on-demand formats.
Develop repeatable invitation, nurture, and registration journeys mapped to the partner and customer journey.
Operate as a service partner to Channel Marketing Managers — they bring vendor strategy, scope, and funding; this role delivers the execution infrastructure at quality and speed.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills, experience and knowledge:
High School Certificate or equivalent.
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or management studies or equivalent experience.
Proven experience managing B2B events end to end — from executive round tables through to large-scale conferences and roadshows.
Experience designing or running digital demand generation programs: webinars, virtual events, or on-demand content libraries.
Working knowledge of HubSpot for campaign execution, registration workflows, lead scoring, and nurture sequences.
Strong operational and project-management discipline, able to run multiple formats and activations simultaneously.
A data-driven mindset — comfortable defining metrics, building reporting, and using engagement data to inform decisions.
Excellent stakeholder management across internal teams, vendors, and partners.
