SUMMARY
Responsible for coordinating service between the front office and back office of the practice. This includes ensuring that patients are seen in a timely matter. The Clerical Coordinator-Receptionist’s primary role is to maintain the organized, coordinated overall workflow of the Practice.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Greet and check-in Patients.
· Retrieve, process, and secure forms.
· Print/set up new patient packets, assist patient with completing patient packets.
· Set up Patient Portal for new patients.
· Room Patients.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification
· High School Diploma or GED
Skills/Experience
· Knowledge of computer programs.
· Ability to multitask in a face paced environment.
· Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
· Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system. Provide high touch customer service
· Answer telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.
· Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
· Well organized and detail oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with patient management systems.
· CPR/BLS Certification.
· Bilingual
