Corum Health Services is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy in search of a Full-Time Staff Pharmacist. We are seeking a motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our team. Our staff pharmacist role offers a unique blend of clinical, dispensing, and managerial responsibilities. Candidate must be passionate about and dedicated to providing patient-centered care, particularly to the older adult population. Most of our prescriptions are dispensed to residents of long-term care facilities. In addition, we work with several hospice companies to provide pharmacy services to their end-of-life patients and have some community retail patients as well. We also provide sterile and non-sterile compounding products.
Key responsibilities:
Dispensing services:
- Accurately review and verify medication orders
- Oversee preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring timely delivery to long-term care facilities
- Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians, ensuring the highest standard of accuracy and efficiency in dispensing processes
- Monitor medication inventory levels and assist with procurement of medications to meet patient needs.
Clinical services:
- Optimize medication therapy daily through drug regimen reviews (DRRs) to ensure safety and appropriateness of treatment plans.
- Provide recommendations on dosage adjustments, therapeutic alternatives, and drug interactions to ensure best outcomes for patients
- Execute MTS services through protocols with physicians to manage drug therapies, such as intravenous vancomycin
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians at long-term care facilities to answer questions and provide guidance on drug therapies
Hours/Anticipated Schedule:
- Salaried position
- Pharmacy hours:
- Monday through Friday 7AM-9PM
- Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays 9AM-5PM
- Closing times are approximate, staff must stay until work is complete
- All staff pharmacists work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Pharmacists share on-call responsibilities

Requirements
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Missouri
- Strong clinical judgement and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accountability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals, facility staff, and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with FrameworkLTC is preferred, but not required
