About the role:

As a Category Manager, Contract Manufacturing, you will play a key role in leading global sourcing and procurement strategies across direct-spend categories supporting Herbalife's products. Acting as the subject matter expert in Contract Manufacturing sourcing, you will work closely with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and business stakeholders to drive cost savings, mitigate supply risks, improve supply chain performance, and introduce innovation across Herbalife's global operations.

This is a highly visible role that combines strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, commercial negotiations, business analytics, and global project leadership. You will have the opportunity to influence sourcing decisions on a global scale while supporting product innovation and long-term business growth.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Build strategic partnerships with key Contract Manufacturers and Dispute Resolution
  • Negotiate and manage supply agreements that deliver favorable commercial terms for Herbalife.
  • Conduct Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and regular supplier business reviews.
  • Lead global cross-functional teams focused on optimizing supply chains across multiple regions and business units.
  • Develop and execute long-term category and commodity strategies to drive efficiency, innovation, and value creation.
  • Identify and deliver cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities;
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, capacity commitments, tooling investments and long-term agreements.
  • Drive cost transparency through open-book models
  • Support Research & Development initiatives by providing commodity expertise, cost analysis, and supply chain risk assessments for new products.
  • Monitor commodity markets and proactively identify opportunities to manage cost fluctuations and supply risks.
  • Prepare spend, savings, risk and supplier-performance reporting for senior stakeholders.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Around 10 years of purchasing or procurement experience, with contract manufacturing sourcing experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies, supplier management, and procurement best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and sourcing efficiencies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop long-term business and category plans.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
  • Experience working within global and cross-functional environments.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Strong English communication skills
