Sodastream: AP Team Lead

Overview (English)

At SodaStream, part of PepsiCo, we’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to oversee and optimize our Accounts Payable operations within the Finance organization.In this role, you will lead the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient processing from invoice receipt through supplier payment. You will manage a team of AP professionals, drive operational excellence, maintain a strong control environment, and collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Treasury, and business functions.This position combines people leadership, operational ownership, financial controls, audit support, and process improvement in a dynamic global environment #LI-Hybrid #sodastream 

Responsibilities (English)

• Lead, coach, and develop the Accounts Payable team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee the end-to-end AP process, including invoice processing, matching, approvals, payments, and supplier account management.
• Monitor AP aging, open invoices, payment activities, and service level performance while ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Partner closely with Procurement, Treasury, Accounting, and business stakeholders to support efficient financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, payment terms, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, providing evidence, and coordinating audit activities.
• Coordinate regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, accrual monitoring, reporting, and analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control effectiveness.

Qualifications (English)

• 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, or a related finance function.
• Solid experience managing end-to-end Accounts Payable processes.
• Previous team leadership, supervisory, or people management experience.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements, and operational risk management.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits; familiarity with SOX controls is an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic global environment.
• Highly organized, accountable, and capable of managing competing priorities independently.
