Director of Rose Garden (Assisted Living Administrator)

At Sunset Senior Communities, our mission is simple: to provide quality services for senior adults in the spirit of Christian love. We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and mission-driven leader to serve as the Director of Rose Garden, our licensed assisted living community.

As the Assisted Living Administrator, you will provide overall leadership for community operations, resident care, admissions, compliance, staffing, and quality initiatives. This position is ideal for a leader who is passionate about serving older adults, developing high-performing teams, and creating an exceptional resident and family experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead the daily operations of our assisted living community.
• Ensure high-quality resident care and services.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to department leaders and team members.  
• Supervise clinical operations, including resident assessments, levels of care, documentation, infection prevention, quality assurance, and interdisciplinary care coordination. 
• Review clinical information for prospective residents, determine admission appropriateness, and ensure admission documentation is complete and accurate.
• Oversee admissions, move-ins, occupancy growth, and resident retention efforts.
• Maintain compliance with Home for the Aged regulations and all applicable requirements.
• Manage staffing, budgets, and resources to support effective and efficient operations.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and resident-centered care.

Requirements

 Required Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Michigan.
• 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience in assisted living, senior living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting.
• Admissions experience, including evaluating prospective residents and coordinating move-ins.
• Strong knowledge of resident care, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance practices.
