Role Description
You will be working with the Risk Change & Innovation Team within Deutsche Bank's Group COO function, a team responsible for driving strategic & regulatory transformation and process re-engineering across the End-to-End (E2E) credit life cycle.
As the primary prompt engineer and AI Translator (BA) for AI Integration, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping our credit risk processes by embedding Artificial Intelligence solutions across the credit lifecycle. This role is at the forefront of a CRO (Chief Risk Office) wide initiative to enhance and automate E2E workflows by embedding Artificial Intelligence (AI) into our core processes. You will be instrumental in translating complex business needs into effective AI prompts and instructions, working closely with business and technology colleagues to define the vision, operating model, and requirements for our AI-driven future.
You will support the CRM AI Lead/Change Execution Director and work with delivery teams across Risk, Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) & Technology. You will be responsible for AI development within projects, including writing and testing effective prompts, analysing and iterating on AI-generated outputs, and continuously improving them to align with the optimal target state, supported by feedback from key subject matter experts (SMEs).

Your key responsibilities
Process Mapping and AI Integration: Lead the detailed mapping and optimization of credit workflows to strategically integrate and embed new AI capabilities, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Working Group Management: Organize and manage cross-functional CRM working groups, bringing together experts from various domains to drive the design and implementation of AI-integrated processes.
Strategic Alignment: Ensure strategic alignment between the CRM Change team's objectives and those of key partners, including Technology, other CRO areas, and GSA teams.
Business Requirement Elicitation & AI Translation: Engage with SMEs to analyze new use cases, elicit business requirements, and convert them into clear, effective AI prompts and instructions.
AI Pipeline Management & Output Iteration: Operate and refine AI pipelines, continuously improving output based on SME and business partner feedback.
Project Delivery & Accountability: Be responsible and accountable for the delivery of agreed project outputs to the agreed time, quality, and scope parameters, managing the activity of Credit SMEs, technical experts, and analysts.
AI Quality Monitoring & Process Improvement: Oversee AI performance, monitor output quality, design AI-embedded processes, track adoption, and drive continuous enhancements.
Documentation & Compliance: Document AI-driven workflows and control checks in line with Model Risk Management (MoRM) requirements to ensure compliance and support validation/testing.
Testing Strategy & Execution: Design and implement/support robust testing strategies for AI solutions, leveraging expertise in MoRM principles.
Stakeholder Management & Communication: Drive communication between business divisions and solution providers, prepare presentations for senior management, and maintain strong relationships with program sponsors and stakeholders to align on process design and delivery priorities.
Your skills and experience
Education and Experience
University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, Engineering (or comparable qualification)
10+ years of professional experience in the financial industry, preferably within risk management, process re-engineering, or technology change functions.
Demonstrable experience in process mapping, analysis, and optimization, ideally with a focus on integrating new technologies into existing business workflows.
Experience contributing to large-scale transformation programs, with an understanding of project management frameworks and governance processes.
A strong understanding of the credit risk lifecycle and associated processes is essential; familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts, or data-driven projects is a significant advantage.

Financial & Business Acumen: Expertise in credit risk concepts, including an end-to-end understanding of credit workflows & processes
AI Translation & Prompt Engineering: Demonstrable ability to convert complex business needs into effective AI prompts and iteratively improve outputs to achieve desired results.
Data Interpretation & Analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse diverse data sources, manipulate large datasets, and validate AI-generated results.
Risk Management & Compliance Documentation: Trained on MoRM principles with experience in documenting workflows for validation and testing; proven ability to assess and mitigate program risks and dependencies..
Excellent Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, working under pressure with tight deadlines to deliver on complex change initiatives.
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
