About TeenWorks

Formerly known as Pro 100, TeenWorks was created in 1981 by Indiana philanthropist Gene B. Glick from a simple idea of offering teens a summer job. Today, the organization’s summer program engages teens in Anderson, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Muncie, and South Bend in a six-week summer work program that provides work-based learning and professional development. The year-round Pro program, which provides additional individualized work experiences, college tours, networking opportunities, and professional development. Alumni Services is available to all teens after high school to support them in their post-secondary path.

Position Summary

The purpose of the Corporate Giving & Events Manager is to maintain and grow current corporate partnerships across Indianapolis and Anderson and gain revenue for TeenWorks through these relationships. This position reports to the Vice President of Development and Communications and is an integral part of the Development Team. This position will also collaborate with other staff members on activities designed to enhance and support the overall mission of TeenWorks.

Responsibilities

· Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners and sponsors in Indianapolis and Anderson, cultivating meaningful relationships that result in increased revenue, volunteer engagement, and long-term investment in TeenWorks.

· Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans to meet and exceed annual corporate giving goals, including sponsorships, employee engagement opportunities, and third-party partnerships.

· Conduct regular outreach, stewardship, and engagement activities with corporate donors, including meetings, site visits, impact reporting, and recognition opportunities to strengthen donor retention and loyalty.

· Identify, research, and cultivate prospective corporate and third-party partners, building a robust pipeline of new supporters and revenue opportunities.

· Serve as the staff lead for the Indianapolis Community Impact Committee (CIC), managing member recruitment, engagement, meeting coordination, and fundraising initiatives while leveraging members as ambassadors for TeenWorks.

· Partner with corporate sponsors and community volunteers to support key program experiences, including Interview Day, Hiring Day, Career Day, Mock Interview Day, and other workforce development activities.

· Lead sponsorship strategy and execution for the Futures Breakfast and Trivia Night, among other development events, including prospecting, solicitation, benefit fulfillment, stewardship,

and revenue tracking. Serve as project manager and staff lead for at least one signature fundraising or community event annually, ensuring a high-quality experience for sponsors, volunteers, and attendees.

· Maintain accurate donor records, engagement activities, and revenue forecasts within Salesforce and other organizational systems to support reporting and informed decision-making.

· Collaborate across departments to align fundraising efforts with program needs, organizational priorities, and TeenWorks' mission of preparing young people for community, college, and career success.

· Represent TeenWorks in the community through networking events, speaking engagements, and partner meetings to increase awareness, engagement, and philanthropic support.

· Consistently meeting or exceeding annual fundraising, sponsorship, and revenue goals.

· Growing corporate partnerships through successful renewal, upgrade, and acquisition strategies.

· Building trusted, long-term relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community stakeholders.

· Maintaining a strong donor pipeline and proactively advancing prospects through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship stages.

· Delivering exceptional donor experiences that result in increased engagement, retention, and advocacy.

· Successfully managing multiple projects and events simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

· Demonstrating initiative by identifying opportunities, solving problems independently, and moving work forward.

· Communicating effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, clearly conveying the mission, impact, and funding needs of TeenWorks.

· Leveraging data, donor insights, and reporting tools to inform fundraising strategies and track progress toward goals.

· Fostering strong cross-functional relationships and serving as a collaborative, solutions-oriented team member.

· Demonstrating confidence and professionalism in networking, donor meetings, public-facing events, and volunteer engagement opportunities.

· Exhibiting a genuine passion for TeenWorks' mission and commitment to creating pathways for youth success.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Some non-profit experience is a plus but not required (1-2 years)

· Strong computer and technology skills, with experience in Microsoft Teams, Canva, GiveSmart, and Salesforce a plus
