Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a detail-oriented Agile Delivery Business Analyst to join our Joint Staff Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) team. In this role, you will support agile planning and execution across multiple PODs, track delivery metrics, ensure process consistency, and contribute to the successful delivery of data and AI-enabled products for Department of Defense missions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the Agile Delivery Lead in planning and coordinating agile execution across multiple PODs, ensuring alignment with program objectives and delivery timelines
- Track, analyze, and report on key delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, release progress) to provide actionable insights and transparency to leadership
- Maintain agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps), supporting ticket creation, backlog refinement, and workflow optimization
- Assist in the preparation and facilitation of program-wide agile events, including Program Increment (PI) planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release cycles
- Ensure agile standards, processes, and best practices are consistently applied across PODs, supporting process improvement initiatives
- Identify and escalate delivery blockers, risks, or dependencies to the Agile Delivery Lead and assist in resolution tracking
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to gather requirements and support agile delivery operations
- Develop and maintain documentation, dashboards, and reporting tools to support agile delivery management
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in agile project coordination, business analysis, or delivery support roles
- Working knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience supporting agile teams
- Proficiency in agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and delivery metrics tracking
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint Staff, or similar government organizations
- Experience with data, analytics, or AI product delivery in secure or federal environments
- Agile or Scrum certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner, PMI-ACP)
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, or documentation for agile delivery management
- Familiarity with PI planning, release management, and cross-team coordination
- Demonstrated ability to support process improvement and agile transformation initiatives
