Office assistant to Student Activities department

Department: Student Activities

Location: Reamer Campus Center 404

Student supervisor: Katie Davin
Work available: M-Th 8:30am - 9pm, Friday 8:30am-7pm, Sat/Sun 3pm-7pm
Rate of Pay: $9.70

Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls

• Greet guests entering the office promptly

• Approve flyers and check campus center for outdated and unapproved material

• Assist clubs and organizations with questions

• Contact students regarding their clubs, mail, and packages

• List upcoming events on white board and bulletin boards in the office

• Carry/Deliver items to finance and other offices on campus

• Maintain supplies at front desk and paperwork for clubs

• Maintain the organization of the office, workroom, conference room, and supply closet

• Sell tickets for major events & movies

• Sign up students for club events

• Restock all paper for copier and printer

• File paperwork as needed

• Other duties assigned

• Most important the student must maintain a smile and the positive atmosphere of the Student Activities Office!
