The JOB:

As a Buffet Attendant at the Grand Dining Room, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional breakfast and dining experience for our guests.

You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, replenishing, and breaking down buffet stations while ensuring food displays remain clean, organized, attractive, and fully stocked throughout service. This position works closely with our Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure guests receive warm, attentive service in one of the resort’s signature dining venues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Set up and prepare buffet stations prior to service.
• Maintain an attractive, clean, organized, and fully stocked buffet throughout the shift.
• Monitor food levels and communicate with the Culinary team to ensure items are replenished promptly.
• Maintain proper presentation and cleanliness of food displays, serving utensils, plates, and surrounding areas.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with questions regarding buffet selections.
• Clear and reset buffet areas as needed throughout service.
• Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including buffet breakdown and cleaning.
• Work collaboratively with servers, server assistants, hosts, and Culinary team members.
• Maintain the high level of service and presentation expected at the Grand Dining Room.
• Perform additional Food & Beverage duties as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

To be successful in the Buffet Attendant – Grand Dining Room position, you should:

• Have previous restaurant, hotel, resort, or Food & Beverage experience preferred.
• Have excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Be dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have strong attention to detail and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 30–50 pounds as needed.
• Be comfortable carrying trays, plates, serving equipment, and food items.
• Have the ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with guests.
• Be able to communicate effectively with guests, Culinary, and Food & Beverage team members.
• Be available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Meet NHHR background screening requirements.
