We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Greenhills Country House Hotel, as  a Junior Sous Chef.

This is a hands-on role for a chef who is ready to step up – you’ll still be on the sections, but also taking responsibility for supervising the team, maintaining standards, and helping to develop more junior chefs.

Nestled in a tranquil rural valley, Greenhills Country House Hotel promises a perfect blend of luxury and tradition. We meet and exceed our guests' high expectations. The 33 charming rooms are meticulously prepared, and our food and drink offerings are expertly refined. Our restaurant, currently holding 2 AA rosettes, is renowned for its high-quality cuisine curated from locally sourced produce.

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to join the award‑winning kitchen team at Greenhills Hotel. As a Junior Sous Chef, you’ll be a driving force in the kitchen, energising and supporting the team to craft exceptional dishes and create unforgettable guest experiences.

You’ll take an active role in the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen – overseeing service, maintaining excellent food quality and presentation, and ensuring a clean, safe and well‑organised workspace. Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you’ll help to develop and deliver innovative, seasonal menus using locally sourced produce.

You’ll also mentor and motivate your colleagues, sharing your knowledge and helping to build a positive, high‑performing kitchen culture. Your expertise will support us in maintaining our 2 AA Rosette standard of excellence and further enhancing Greenhills’ reputation for outstanding food.
