This Position reports to:

Head of Sales - India & Southeast Asia

 

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the North Sales organization for B&R Industrial Automation, supporting business growth and market expansion. You will develop and execute regional sales strategies, grow customer and channel partner relationships, and identify new opportunities across automation and smart manufacturing. The role requires solid sales leadership, business development skills, and customer engagement skills.

 

The work model for the role is: #LI- Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Machine Automation Division -B&R in Faridabad region in India. Main stakeholders are Key customers, channel partners, OEMs, system integrators, and senior business stakeholders.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Grow the Automation and Motion Control business for B&R North India, identifying growth opportunities across key industries and expanding market presence.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a capable sales team to meet business targets and execute regional sales strategies.
• Build and grow relationships with key customers and global accounts to support customer growth and business development.
• Collaborate with channel partners and cross-functional teams to develop market strategies and expand business through partner networks.
• Monitor sales performance, manage opportunity pipelines, negotiate strategic contracts, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications for the role:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related field); MBA.
• 15+ years of experience in industrial automation, motion control, machine automation, or related industries.
• Experience leading effective sales teams and delivering revenue and business growth targets.
• Extensive experience in solution selling, business development, and market expansion within industrial automation.
• Experience managing strategic accounts and building long-term customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Good understanding of key industries including Packaging, Printing, Plastics, Pharma, Medical Assembly, and manufacturing.
• Strong skills in CRM, sales forecasting, negotiation, pipeline management, and customer relationship management.
