Rotating Equipment Specialists, LLC (RES) is hiring an Industrial Maintenance & Reliability Technician to join our team supporting industrial operations in Apple Grove, West Virginia.

You do not need previous vibration analysis or predictive maintenance experience to be considered.

We're looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, curiosity, a strong work ethic, and the desire to learn a specialized technical trade. If you bring those qualities, we'll help teach you the technology and skills used to identify machinery problems before they turn into equipment failures and costly downtime.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work hands-on with industrial rotating equipment including motors, pumps, fans, bearings, gearboxes, drives, and other critical machinery.

Your work will include:

• Collecting vibration and machinery condition data
• Inspecting operating equipment for developing mechanical problems
• Learning to analyze vibration data and identify machinery faults
• Using specialized diagnostic instruments and software
• Performing or assisting with infrared thermography inspections
• Performing ultrasonic inspections
• Supporting lubrication and equipment condition-monitoring programs
• Performing laser shaft alignments
• Assisting with precision field balancing
• Working with continuous and wireless vibration-monitoring systems
• Troubleshooting machinery problems such as imbalance, misalignment, looseness, bearing defects and other mechanical conditions
• Documenting inspection results and equipment conditions
• Communicating findings with RES team members and customer personnel

As your skills develop, you'll take on greater responsibility for independently evaluating machinery, diagnosing problems and helping customers prevent equipment failures.

Don't Have Reliability Experience? That's Okay.

Your background could be in:

Industrial Maintenance • Manufacturing • Mechanical Repair • Automotive/Diesel • Mill or Plant Operations • Electrical/Mechanical Work • HVAC • Welding/Fabrication • Military Maintenance • Skilled Trades • Technical or Trade School

What matters most is that you are mechanically inclined, dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.

Previous vibration analysis, predictive maintenance or machinery reliability experience is a plus — but it is not required for the right candidate.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on position in an industrial environment. Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Work in varying temperatures and industrial environments
• Work around operating machinery and equipment
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
