Falcon is looking to add Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to our Team.

Job Description:

Maintain production and quality for precision sheet metal fabricator facility by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. This requires working with others in the company including department supervisors and purchasing.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Preventive maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment: press brakes, spot welders, lasers, NC turret presses, and production machines following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment as needed.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components
• Disassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem
• Test malfunctioning machinery to determine whether major repairs are needed
• Detect minor problems by performing basic diagnostic tests
• Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on building including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

What it Takes to Succeed:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Technical understanding required
• Knowledge of equipment, ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
• Knowledge to fix minor electrical issues, plumbing and HVAC systems
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to solve a problem
• Ability to thrive in an evolving, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Dependable
• Energetic and eager to learn

  Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 pounds

· Ability to sit, walk and stand for long shifts (up to 10 hours).

· Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

· Ability to work in manufacturing floor environments, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures 

Bonus Point:

· Experience in metal shop production

· Basic computer knowledge

Location: Somerset, NJ

Job Type:

Full time, 1st shift Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 2:30pm

Overtime as needed

Pay: hourly from $20.00 to $30.00 DOE
