What impact you’ll make

The successful candidate will serve as Customer Training Open Enrollment Project Manager for Gas Power OFS Training. The team's primary product is Customer Training, supporting Maintenance and Operations, Controls, as well as Business Operations Training for Heavy Duty Thermal Turbines, Aeroderivative Turbines, and Generators. This role will be responsible for the entire product life cycle, from Inquiry to Remittance of Customer Training for Open Enrollment classes globally, including driving sales, customer relationships, strategically creating the annual training schedule, learning management system ownership, customer billing, and overall project management and will support synergies between the customer training programs and internal training for Gas Power.

What you’ll do

 

  • Project Manage the entire, global ITO/OTR activities for Open Enrollment Customer Training, ensuring contractual expectations are met.
  • Act as point of contact for Open Enrolment Customer Training courses.
  • Develop Open Enrollment and Online Learning proposals for Multi Year Agreements.
  • Actively support sales and drive up-sales during execution, serve as subject matter expert for Customer Training and as central point of contact for the assigned scope.
  • Build strong relationship with Gas Power Regional operations teams and global Commercial Operations teams.
  • Stakeholder management: Customer, Gas Power OFS Training, regional GE representatives and external parties.
  • Manage state of the art and up to date Internet representation.
  • Provide over-all leadership for the successful execution of Open Enrollment, including financials, Learning Management System, student enrollment & registration, and marketing.
  • Manage project budget and schedule, control risks, enhance margin.
  • Manage regular project reporting and mid-long-term project forecasting.
  • Implement and maintain Learning Paths across technologies
  • Work to implement, improve and drive consistent processes and methodologies within the assigned scope.
  • Support instructor and product line lead preparedness and help coordinate and or ensure successful procurement of equipment shipping, visas, translations, manual creation, acquisition of customer site specific material including drawings and software.
  • Represent Customer Training at users conferences and Customers visiting the Houston Learning Center.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or a High School Diploma / GED and 5 years equivalent experience in technical, operational or education discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the power service / power generation industry
  • Demonstrated project management skills and passion for Project Management
  • Proven Customer Centric Mindset
  • Skilled at leading in a multi-location matrix organization; capable of influencing and leading cross functional team members despite limited authority
  • Proven ability to manage multiple customers and multiple complex issues in parallel
  • Ability to influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
  • Must be willing to further develop product technical skills on the GE Gas Power technical product portfolio, Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Controls and acquire working knowledge of power plant operation.

  • Three years of project management / leadership experience

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
