Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for tracking inventory levels and conducting regular audits to ensure that inventory levels are accurate and match the records in the inventory management system.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation daily, including inventory logs, tracking sheets, and other reports to ensure that inventory data is accurate and up to date.
- Responsible for conducting periodic cycle counts, including, but not limited to review of daily shorts, expiration reports, damages, inventory rotation and quality issues.
- Responsible for maintaining records of large inventory counts, where accuracy is critical.
- Record inventory data manually/electronically on a computer or handheld device.
- Receives product from purchase orders accurately.
- Ensuring that the paperwork matches the actual item received.
- Reporting any inaccuracies between the two.
- Collaborate with other departments such as fulfillment, purchasing, and sales to ensure that inventory levels are optimized and that inventory policies are followed.
- Reports all discrepancies, expirations, and damages to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience necessary. Some college education or inventory experience is preferred
- Good writing and communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Good computer skills with understanding of Microsoft Office Programs
- Strong math skills
- Ability to speak, write, and communicate in Spanish is a plus
