We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Consulting team at Marsh Thailand. This role will be based in Bangkok. This is a hybrid role which is mostly output based, requires frequent travel and site visits.
We are looking for someone who can deliver tailored advice and solutions to support client’s risk management decisions and overall business goals. The role involves analyzing various technical risk issues and implementation of established risk strategies in order to minimize client’s exposure and enhance resiliency.
We will count on you to:
Conduct risk evaluation surveys for clients to identify and assess the risk exposures at the target facility.
Prepare risk evaluation reports to assist clients with the implementation of a risk management strategy for risk improvement purposes.
Analyze client needs or project outline and suggests suitable approaches or options to consider.
Produce risk identification and recommendation on fixed assets based on local regulation and/or global standards (i.e NFPA)
Produce creative and effective materials that reflect an understanding of client, project and technical issues.
Probe beneath surface issues for concerns or issues that may be unclear to the client.
Project management and consulting work to agreed deadlines and budgets.
Responsible for writing and pricing proposals and communicating the value proposition to clients and prospects
What you need to have:
Engineering Background, Preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical and Civil engineering
At least 3 years of experience in Risk Engineering in insurance industry or 5 years experience in their respective engineering field
Excellent communication skills (Thai and English) – verbal and written.
Thailand based with need for occasional travel
What makes you stand out?
Familiarity with local and international code requirements. Primarily on Building Codes, Fire Codes, NFPA codes, and OSHA Regulations.
Knowledge in Property and Engineering Insurance is an advantage
