About the role:
Reporting directly to the Vice President, Retail Financing, the Director is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the large partnerships and business development department of Retail Financing, fostering strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring his team’s efficient operations, success, growth, retention and partner satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a yearly strategic sales plan that identifies opportunities, risks, and resources required to maximize the company’s revenue stream.
Identify strategic growth opportunities through relationships that fit overall strategy
Lead, mentor and support the sales team in key selling and customer service interaction.
Motivate the sales team to achieve objectives by conducting performance appraisals, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback
Hire and develop a talented sale team; establish and foster an environment of best practices through effective team mentorship, coaching and leadership.
Focus the sales team on profitable growth opportunities that will ensure overall revenue targets are achieved
Monitor category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
Keep current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Drive focus and execution across the sales team to ensure effective engagement in the account management process.
Monitor and maintain profitability of portfolios and devise action plans to ensure profitability hurdles are overcome.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration.
Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience in sales and business development.
Experience in the financial lending industry.
Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience leading a team.

What you can expect - pay & process:
Expected base salary range is $130 000.00 - $150 000.00, plus the opportunity to earn an annual incentive bonus tied to performance.
