JOB PURPOSE
- Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Lead Product Management II who is accountable for designing product features, contribute towards building / enhancing one or more assigned healthcare related products.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Gain a deep understanding of Elevance Health landscape, and contribute towards building / enhancing one or more assigned healthcare related products
- Conducting market research to identify healthcare trends, deep dive into competitor products, identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities for the assigned products or for developing new products
- Design product features keeping the end-user problems/challenges in perspective.
- Work with business stakeholders in designing and finalizing the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and post MVP features
- Coordinate with UX/UI design teams for designing and building user journeys/ dashboards/ visualizations that meet the end-user requirements.
- Design product features keeping the end-user problems/challenges in perspective.
- Developing and prioritizing product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on data-driven insights and feedback.
- Creating and maintaining product backlogs, and documentation to communicate product vision, strategy, and progress.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure alignment between the technical feasibility and the product vision.
- Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Supporting product launches, and end user support activities.
- Managing a team of 4-5 product owners/analysts, owning the responsibility of their product deliverables and promoting a culture of teamwork and innovation
- Collaborating with senior product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver high-quality products that solve real problems for our clients and users.
- Generate new ideas that brings innovation, improve customer experience and drive growth
- Act as a point of contact for health insurance product-related inquiries and issues.
- Should be well versed with agile framework like Kanban, Scrum, and SAFe (Optional)
- Drive scrum calls and Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
- Should have working experience on Jira, and Confluence.
- Manage each project’s scope and timeline.
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
- Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, healthcare, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in product management or healthcare consulting or a similar role in the healthcare domain.
- 3-5 years of US Healthcare experience areas in or more of the subject areas including claims, membership, payer, provider, benefits management etc.
- 1-2 years experience of having worked or led UX/UI design teams in designing prototypes/wireframes, business intelligence dashboards, visualizations and user journeys.
- Experience of having worked with UX/UI design tools like Invision, Figma, Axure
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Highly motivated with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Backlog Management, Prioritization and Agile ceremonies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Experience in creating Business Cases / Product Requirement Documents
- Experienced in providing business solutions and working closely with architecture and dev teams to derive the desired outcome.
- Basic SQL skills.
- Must have worked on data platforms, business intelligence tools or reporting.
- Should be well versed with agile framework like Kanban, Scrum, and SAFe (Optional)
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- 8+ years of experience in product management or healthcare consulting or a similar role in the healthcare domain.
- Experience in product management, design and scrum master role.
