Responsibilities:
You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
Supervise daily fatty acid refinery operations to ensure production targets, product quality, and operational efficiency are achieved.
Monitor and optimize refinery processes, including distillation, fractionation, deodorization, and utility consumption, while troubleshooting process deviations.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards by enforcing safe work practices, conducting safety inspections, and participating in incident investigations.
Lead, coach, and develop production operators to maintain high performance, operational discipline, and effective shift handovers.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime, ensure equipment reliability, and resolve production issues.
Prepare production reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, yield, quality, and cost efficiency.
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in fatty acid, oleochemical, with min 1 year supervisory experience.
Knowledge of fatty acid production processes and continuous plant operations.
Familiar with DCS/SCADA, production planning, and process optimization.
Strong understanding of HSE standards, PSM, and ISO management systems.
Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
