Description
King’s Insurance Staffing is partnering with a growing specialty insurance carrier seeking an experienced claims professional to join its Professional Liability Complex Claims team.
This position will focus on handling complex claims within a specialized Financial Institutions portfolio, including fidelity, fraud, and related professional liability exposures. As the portfolio continues to grow, the successful candidate will also gain broader exposure to E&O and D&O claims.

Responsibilities:

Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex Financial Lines claims from inception through resolution.

Handle claims involving Financial Institutions, E&O, Fiduciary Liability, and/or D&O exposures.

Conduct thorough coverage investigations and analyze applicable policy language and claim documentation.

Evaluate claim exposure and establish and maintain appropriate reserves.

Manage complex and litigated claims and work closely with defense counsel throughout the litigation process.

Review legal pleadings, correspondence, settlement demands, and other relevant claim documentation.

Communicate with insureds, brokers, attorneys, and internal business partners.

Maintain timely documentation, diary activity, and regulatory compliance.

Develop experience across the organization’s growing E&O and D&O portfolios.
Requirements:

7+ years of Financial Lines, Professional Liability, or Management Liability claims handling experience.

Experience handling Financial Institutions, E&O, D&O and/or Fiduciary Liability claims highly preferred.

Strong coverage analysis and policy interpretation skills.

Experience working with defense counsel and managing claims through litigation and settlement.

Excellent verbal, written, analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Bachelor’s degree required.

JD, CPCU, AIC, or another relevant designation is a strong plus but not required.
