Description
This position supports the accounting needs of Corporate and Divisional personnel and will interact with colleagues across Ecolab’s Finance organization and broader business functions. This position is required to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and requests from all areas and must maintain a strict close schedule to provide timely financial results.
What You Will Do:
- Support the Ecolab North America monthly general ledger close process in SAP
- Analyze monthly financial results for the Ecolab North America entities
- Prepare various journal entries during the monthly close process
- Work closely with the Global Business Services (GBS) team during month-end close, and throughout the month, on various accounting procedures
- Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
- Assist in the quarterly balance sheet fluctuation review of the Ecolab entities
- Prepare documentation to support external and internal audits
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues, providing explanations and interpretation
- Maintain and enhance department processes, procedures, and related documentation
- Other ad hoc corporate accounting activities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting and/or finance experience
- No immigration sponsorship available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong accounting background, attention to detail, and well-developed organizational skills
- Results oriented, proactive, and possesses a high level of integrity
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with a high level of initiative and adaptability
- Demonstrates ability to work well across divisions and functions
