Description
Test Engineer
Job Location: Bengaluru
Who We Are
Revantage is a Blackstone Company that provides a highly skilled employee base, best-in-class processes, and state-of-the-art technology to multiple Blackstone real estate portfolio companies.
The Quantitative Engineering & Development team is a fully remote team within Revantage that builds brand-new, cutting-edge technology tools and models for the management, analysis, and valuation of Blackstone’s real estate investments.
What We Value: Our Culture
Our team within Revantage values intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn, build, and grow. We are looking for smart, dedicated people who want to help support Blackstone’s rapidly growing real estate debt and equity investment businesses.
We believe that work culture is defined as things a company rewards and the things it dissuades. Our team rewards people who pick the best solutions to problems, no matter how novel or challenging they may be to implement. And we dissuade those who would rather cut corners or kick the can down the road in their approach.
Why This Role Is Valuable
The Test Engineer will help build and maintain automated test coverage across our QA framework — spanning multiple applications, including BLADE, BRAVE, CRE, and RESI. This is a framework-level role: you'll work across applications, contribute to shared automation standards, and help scale test coverage as the QA team grows.
How You Add Value
- Design, write, and maintain automated E2E test suites using Playwright across multiple applications and role-based user flows.
- Contribute to and help evolve our shared QA automation framework — naming conventions, page object patterns, reusable utilities, and test data management.
- Monitor Azure DevOps pipelines that run automated suites scheduled for daily runs.
- Work across BLADE, BRAVE, CRE, and RESI — prioritized by the QA Lead based on release schedules and risk.
- Identify and resolve flaky tests, refactor brittle locators, and improve suite execution time and reliability.
- Maintain test result dashboards and coverage reporting so engineering and QA leadership have real-time visibility into suite health.
What You Bring To The Role
Required:
- 3+ years of test automation experience in a professional QA or SDET role
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for E2E UI automation
- Comfortable writing automation in TypeScript and C#
- Solid understanding of role-based access testing (multi-role applications)
- Experience with Git, pull request workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to debug flaky tests and improve test suite stability
- Clear written communication and PR documentation habits
Preferred:
- Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD test orchestration
- Exposure to .NET / Blazor applications or similar enterprise stacks
- Experience working across multiple applications or codebases simultaneously
- Familiarity with test coverage tools (Coverlet or similar)
- Prior experience contributing to or building a shared QA framework
- Exposure to Azure DevOps to GitHub migrations
Perks for You
- Competitive salary, overall compensation, and 401(k)
- Generous health insurance and wellness benefits
