Head of Global Digital Transformation (m/f/d)

As our Head of Global Digital Transformation, you will define and implement a clear digital strategy that connects existing initiatives, capabilities, and investments into a cohesive roadmap focused on business impact.

You will lead and develop the Digital Strategy team and work closely with senior stakeholders across the organization to accelerate digital transformation, strengthen digital capabilities, and drive sustainable business growth.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Define and drive the global Digital Transformation strategy aligned with business and commercial priorities. 

• Create a clear roadmap that connects and prioritizes existing and new digital initiatives across functions, regions, and platforms. 
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing global digital transformation team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Advance Omnichannel Engagement capabilities and customer-centric digital experiences across HCP, patient, and stakeholder interactions in a fit-for-purpose approach for the Merz Tx current and future portfolio. 

• Shape and drive the organization's AI strategy by identifying, prioritizing, and enabling high-value use cases across the business. 
• Drive CRM excellence and data-driven decision making, ensuring adoption, effectiveness, and business value across markets. 

• Partner with senior business leaders across Commercial, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Data & Analytics, and AI teams to shape digital priorities and translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.
• Establish governance, performance measures, and success metrics to maximize the impact of digital investments

• Build digital capabilities across the organization and act as an ambassador for digital transformation across global and regional teams. 

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven leadership experience in Digital Transformation, Omnichannel Engagement, CRM, or related fields within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing digital strategies that delivered measurable business impact.
• Deep understanding of Omnichannel Engagement, CRM, customer-centric digital capabilities, and emerging AI applications.
• Experience translating business priorities into scalable solutions and driving adoption across complex international organizations.
• Ability to connect business strategy, technology, data, and customer experience into practical and value-creating initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, change leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience working in global matrix organizations and leading transformation across multiple markets and regions.
