About the role
As a Clinical Nurse in our Endoscopy Department, you will provide the highest standard of patient care, act as a clinical resource and effectively manage resources to deliver quality patient outcomes. You will ensure the highest level of postoperative care is provided to our Endoscopy patients including the monitoring of recovery, assessing of clinical progress, management of any complications, and ensuring a smooth transition to discharge.
Our Endoscopy unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by highly skilled medical professionals. We offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies, bronchoscopies, and cystoscopies. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate care and ensuring patient comfort throughout the entire process.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise nursing practice and take responsibility for standard of nursing care delivered.
Act a clinical resource, maintain and develop clinical skills relevant to area of practice.
Initiate review and coordinate care of patients with complex health problems.
Serves as a patient advocate, always protecting the rights and safety of patients.
Evaluate the quality of nursing practice and participates in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
Ensure the correct use and care of all hospital equipment by self and colleagues.
Actively contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures in area of specialty.
Ensure documentation meets hospital standards and legal requirements.
Your skills and experience
You will have demonstrated strong leadership capability, working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment with well-developed skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving.
To succeed you will hold registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse, relevant post registration and experience in Endoscopy.

We can offer
Salary: $109,599 to $115,681 per annum, plus 12% superannuation
A permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week
