Overview
ROLE AT A GLANCE:
The Supervisor – Public Affairs will support the Public Affairs team in day-to-day coordination, documentation and follow-up activities across regulatory, FSSAI, Direct Selling Monitoring Mechanism, Consumer Affairs, vendor management, special projects and internal processes.This role is important to ensure that critical Public Affairs work is properly tracked, documented and followed up in a timely manner. The person will work closely with internal teams, external vendors and relevant stakeholders to help ensure smooth execution of ongoing priorities.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Support coordination with internal and external stakeholders for Public Affairs and regulatory-related activities.
- Assist in FSSAI and Direct Selling Monitoring Mechanism application verification, document collection and filing.
- Coordinate with internal teams for approvals, data inputs, documentation and regular follow-ups.
- Maintain proper records for licenses, renewals, modifications, regulatory submissions and approvals.
- Prepare and maintain payment trackers, project trackers, regulatory trackers and follow-up sheets.
- Coordinate with vendors for documentation, invoices, payment follow-ups and deliverables.
- Support documentation, reporting, data collation and preparation of basic updates.
- Assist in meeting coordination, stakeholder meetings, events and Public Affairs initiatives.
- Maintain organized filing of approvals, correspondence, submissions and project-related documents.
- Ensure timely follow-up on pending items and support smooth execution of day-to-day Public Affairs activities.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:
Education
Postgraduate in Public Policy/ Communication/ Social work/Food technology
Experience
- 5-7 years
- Experience in coordination, documentation, administration, regulatory support, compliance support, Public Affairs support or similar roles.
- Exposure to FSSAI, Consumer Affairs, regulatory affairs, government coordination, FMCG, food, nutrition or health supplement industry will be an added advantage.
Skills/Certifications
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain trackers, records and documentation accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage timelines and follow through on pending actions.
- Willingness to learn Public Affairs, regulatory and stakeholder engagement processes.
