Job Description:

An opportunity for a Composite/Hybrid Structure Detailed Designer in Airbus Operations has arisen in Getafe (Madrid)

Responsibilities

Research & Evaluation: Investigate and assess emerging technologies and design concepts to define the future of aircraft development.

Technical Specifications: Define and author technical specifications and requirements for innovative aerospace systems and components.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with multidisciplinary R&D and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate cutting-edge technological solutions.

Prototyping & Testing: Drive the creation of prototypes and lead proof-of-concept testing for advanced designs.

Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze complex data sets and test results to continuously refine and optimize designs and processes.

Stakeholder Reporting: Deliver clear technical reports and strategic recommendations to leadership and project stakeholders.

SKILLS

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Proven Experience: Track record in aircraft or aerospace systems design, ideally within an advanced R&D environment.

Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard CAD/CAE tools (e.g., CATIA, 3DX, PLM, PASS, CPD ...).

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong innovative mindset with a demonstrated ability to tackle complex engineering challenges.

Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Team Dynamic: Proven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
