VCSG is looking for compassionate, skilled Specialty Veterinary Technicians to join our team in North America’s First National Park City!

VCSG is a State of the Art Facility with Cutting Edge Technology including ultrasound, digital radiology, CT scanning, and advanced laboratory resources. Our main hospital is equipped with an in-house 1.5 Tesla MRI, 128-slice CT scanner, C-arm, high-flow oxygen ventilation, long-term ventilator, and onsite blood bank to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
The Cancer Center serves as a central hub for various departments within our facility, encompassing critical areas like medical and radiation oncology. It is home to our new Varian 2024 Edge Linear Accelerator, representing a significant leap in our treatment capabilities.

What You Can Expect To Do
In this dynamic role, you’ll be on the front lines of veterinary medicine, supporting complex and urgent cases. We have multiple specialties within the practice, but are currently interested in speaking with candidates for our Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Anesthesia, Radiation Oncology, and Neurology departments.
At VCSG, you’ll be surrounded by experts in their field, providing cutting-edge care to patients and supporting their families. You’ll have access to using state-of-the-art equipment including CT, MRI, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, ventilators, and an on-site blood bank.
Current open roles offer flexibility of a 3-day and 4-day workweek to provide a rewarding work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- Schedules vary by department needs. Must be available to work 10 – 12 hours shifts and some holidays.
- 1-2 years of nursing experience in a veterinary setting, proven experience in ER, Urgent Care, or Specialty/Referral practice preferred.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary drugs and their effects, backed by specialized training and expertise
- Skilled in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, drug calculations, and other technical skills.
- Strong medical math skills and experience with drug calculations.
- Attention to detail, must be thorough in your work, with a focus on accuracy, especially in critical moments
Preferred - Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or equivalent certification
