Position Overview:

The Program Manager III provides senior-level operational, administrative, and program management support to Facilities Management (FM) leadership. This role serves as a key partner in coordinating departmental priorities, strategic initiatives, and enterprise programs, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and execution across the organization. Responsibilities include supporting leadership through calendar management, meeting coordination, action item tracking, executive communications, and the development of presentations, reports, and other materials for leadership and stakeholder engagement. The Program Manager also leads and supports operational improvement initiatives, departmental planning activities, and cross-functional projects that enhance organizational effectiveness. In addition, the role oversees departmental information management practices, including maintenance of the FM SharePoint environment and document governance standards, to ensure reliable access to information and resources across the department.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and business communications computer software programs, Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Yardi and/or other real estate asset management software is preferred. Skills in identifying, researching/ analyzing and creatively resolving problems.
• Familiarity with the State of California building approval processes, including OSHPD, SFM and municipal discretionary approvals.
• Familiarity with healthcare construction building codes and regulations, space programming, allocation costs analysis and contract negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, manage and balance multiple interests, and resolve conflicts.

Pay Range is $97,032.00 to $145,558.40 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
