About the role:

As a key member of the local IT team, reporting to the IT Manager – Shopfloor Apps & Product Solutions, you will define and support the connectivity of shopfloor equipment to our MES environment for data acquisition, declarations, printing, and other MES-related functions. You will work closely with IT Network colleagues, field engineers, maintenance teams, and vendor representatives.

In detail, you will: 

·        Participate in MES & Shopfloor applications implementation projects, both of internal and external provisioning, including Quality and WMS solutions.

·        Coordinate activities from MES side, to ensure a seamless integration with existing and future factory automation PLC interfaces.

·        Provide ongoing maintenance and support for MES and local Apps, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and system upgrades.

·        Define all the Security configurations and routing with Electrolux Security Team and IoT Team for machines and equipment working with MES & Local Apps through OT Firewall.

·        Help in studying and suggesting logical and technical SW solutions to cover business requirements and Continuous Improvements.

·        Support UAT testing and implementation phases, including documentation review and recommendations.

·        Manage interfaces with legacy systems and ERP solutions in the manufacturing area.

·        Maintain continuous collaboration with business stakeholders, IT consultants and external vendors.

·        Cooperate with departments such as Maintenance, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Engineering (ME), Cyber Sec and IoT on new projects.

·        Provide day-to-day support to key business users.

Who you are / Your qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Information Systems, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science                 

·        Minimum 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing and/or automation.

·        Good understanding of factory automation systems (HMI/SCADA and IoT devices).

·        Good understanding of Industrial Communication protocols

·        Good knowledge of C# and T-SQL

·        Good Knowledge of OPC UA and Kepware EX

·        Good knowledge of mobile devices for manufacturing ( Barcode Readers, WiFi printers )

·        Understanding of PC, network, and server infrastructure.

·        Understanding of SIEMENS PLC series (programming and configuration).

·        Ability to comprehend manufacturing business processes.

·        Proficiency in English (B1/B2 level, written and spoken).

·        Preferred : car driving license.
