Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Hixson, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position supports a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related situations with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and adherence to facility access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
