Job Description

As a Security Guard Overnight Residential Full Time Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the residential community to help deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
